Air Discount Contracts:
If your company has enough total air volume to qualify, you may receive
discounts from your preferred air carrier that can be up to 10% off the lowest
fare available for most flights. Additionally, these discounts can be even
greater if you're flying premium class or internationally. Air Soft Dollar Programs: All major airlines now offer what can be best described as corporate frequent flyer programs that afford your company additional perks just for signing up and flying as you normally do. These perks range from free tickets, free upgrades, status enhancements, etc. and they can be used any way the organization sees fit. There are no minimums to qualify and no reason your organization should not be taking advantage of these programs right now. Car Discount Programs: Most companies don't realize that they can get a substantial discount by selecting a preferred rental car vendor. These discounts can be up to 10% or more, and include rate caps in larger, more expensive cities. They will also bring your travelers complimentary frequent renter status with your chosen vendor. This will save time and reduce stress for your travelers. Your preferred vendor can also extend your company direct centralized billing options to further ease the burden on travelers as well as your accounting department. Hotel Discount Programs: This budget item is often overlooked because the largest hotel chains won't offer nationwide corporate discounts to any but the largest of corporations. But any individual property that your organization uses will be delighted to offer discounted room rates in exchange for a minimum room night commitment. Baker Travel specializes in these negotiations on a customizable case-by-case basis. We also offer consortium discounts at thousands of hotels worldwide through our association partnerships at no cost to our clients. These discounts can range from 10-50%. |
